Very rare player shirt believed to have been worn by Maitland-Niles for the Premier League match against Manchester United, played at The Hawthorns on 14th February 2021. The winger played the full 90 minutes in this one despite picking up a booking as Sam Allardyce’s men won a well-earned point. Mbaye Diagne scored in the second minute before Bruno Fernandes equalized just prior to the break. Maitland-Niles had joined the side on loan this month from Arsenal and made 15 appearances as even despite notorious relegation dodger Sam Allardyce taking over the side couldn’t avoid an immediate return to the Championship following a 19th placed finish. He returned to the Emirates at the end of the season and would be sent out on loan to Roma the following year.
